Verdict

Choral Prince looks up against it but the remaining quartet all have claims. The saddle slipped on Filfil last time but he'd scored at Kempton on his racecourse debut while Baltic Knight also won at the same track last month. The form looks nothing special, however, and the latter's stablemate MONTIRIDGE can come out best in this. He had subsequent winners behind when landing his racecourse debut at Newbury in July and the Racing Post Trophy entry is fancied to prove too good for last month's easy Newmarket winner Lazarus Bell.
