    Verdict

Godolphin's two-year-olds have a 30 per cent strike rate this season and that statistic can be boosted by a win here for Red Admiral, with Torrens and perhaps Night Guest others to consider. The selection makes his debut here, but with plenty of that 30 per cent having gone in first time, and Saeed Bin Suroor's runners having enjoyed success this week at the big York meeting, there is every chance he will be straight enough to land this at the first time of asking. If there are any signs of greenness then the one to exploit them could be Torrens. Mark Johnston's charge is bred to improve at three, but the trainer will not be too concerned with that and should have him straight enough to do himself justice here. Night Guest is another from a yard notorious for their juvenile stock. Richard Hannon is still having winners and potential supporters will be boosted by that, though the Danehill Dancer colt may just be stretched by this trip and should be more at home with it when he has a little more experience. As always, keep and eye on the market, but we are happy to take Red Admiral to score.
