A trappy contest with many class droppers but CROWN is our idea of the winner with Bikini Babe and Lady Springbank others worthy of note. Richard Hannon's charge is stepping up in trip today but she looks an entirely genuine individual and having kept on stoutly over six furlongs when outclassed at Royal Ascot, she is likely to find life a little easier today. Bikini Babe has plenty of speed and a fair degree of stamina. The daughter of Montjeu defied market weakness to make all in a maiden at this track last month. Lady Springbank has taken on some useful Northern types in the past. The benefit of hindsight may tell us that she had no chance of accounting for Rose Blossom in a Novice stakes at Haydock last time out. Gallic Star had been sent off favourite for a maiden at Newmarket and while disappointing on that day, she repaid the confidence next time out at Leicester. Paul Cole looks to have a good crop of juveniles so don┬┐t rule out Mistic Magic too readily. Mudaaraah is on a recovery mission having flopped when favourite for a listed race at Newmarket. The race of the day and Crown can make experience count.
