Verdict

Surfer went close at York on his debut and he sets the standard on that form, though Freddy Q is not far behind having found only his stablemate Minal too good on the turf at Lingfield last time. The remainder with experience have some catching up to do if they're to match that duo, but the newcomer FARRAAJ may be good enough. His dam has produced eight winners including the top-class Iffraaj and an entry in the Two-year-Old Trophy suggests he's shown ability at home. Dandy is related to decent winners in Germany, while Silver Lime and Archbishop have winning relatives in North America.
