In depth

Verdict

First Post won last year's renewal off a higher mark but arrives out of sorts this time around and was a long way behind POSTSCRIPT at Haydock last time. The latter was well beaten himself in much better company at York last week but has leading claims in this grade and gets the nod. My Lord scored over C&D last month and has a shout along with Devdas and Barwick, both placed last time, but the jury is still out on Newnton Lodge who finished last on his seasonal debut back in April.
