Whiskey Ridge has an 8lb rise in the weights to contend with and is upped in class after scoring over track and trip last time. Stablemate Baltic Pathfinder also won over these fences in January and has gone close off a higher mark since. Mitchell's Way won an all-weather bumper at Southwell recently but was well beaten in both previous starts over fences and Whats Up Woody has failed to figure since making the frame over course and distance at this time last year. BALLYMOAT struggled in better company at Cheltenham last time but this is more his grade. Tim Vaughan's charge gets the nod on his earlier second to the progressive Cloudy Joker at Musselburgh.
