In depth

Verdict

Dire stuff here, and short list material includes Red Sun, Gotno Destination and My Good Lord and preference is for Gotno Destination. Don't lump on him mind you, but A P McCoy travels north to partner Jonjo's runner here, after being out of sorts over fences lately. Pitched into this poor company he should be able to dominate much more and as one who was rated over 100 in Ireland 12 months or so ago then a return to anything like his best will make him a leading player. Red Sun has been kept busy on the flat just lately but has not been red hot, and he hasn't won since scoring on fast ground over c&d just over a year ago. He gets his ground here and hopefully he can get closer. My Good Lord was also last seen winning on that same Sedgefield card as Red Sun last year, and he acts on the ground and this is more his level after a series of flops, so he is not discounted with first-time blinkers perhaps a help. Freedom Flying would prefer to get his toe in so could be found wanting, Amjad was flattered by his placing here last time, and Kingscourt Lad can go well without winning, as that honour can go to Gotno Destination.
