In depth

Verdict

Miss Hippy ran well in a couple of hot bumpers last season but it's asking a lot of Brian Ellison's mare to win on her hurdling debut after almost a year on the sidelines so we'll take SAGA DE TERCEY to continue his winning run. An easy winner at Musselburgh and equally impressive over C&D last month, Donald McCain's seven-year-old has the build to defy his double penalty. Formulation ran his best race so far at Carlisle last month and looks best of the rest.
