In depth

Verdict

Night In Milan was a shade disappointing at Southwell last time but promises to appreciate this big step up in trip and can't be ruled out as his stable is in good form at present. Sue Smith also has her string in good order so Belmore Baron, who got off the mark over 3m3f here last month, is also worth a second look while Bellflower Boy has been in good form over hurdles and has the past form to figure. Chamirey also falls into that bracket but The Hollinwell looks to have plenty to do under top weight and hasn't won over fences for more than two years. REY NACARADO was never travelling in Grade 3 handicap at Haydock last time and was quickly pulled up. The much quicker ground here will be in his favour, however, and Charlie Longsdon's thorough stayer can bounce back to winning ways.
