Tim Vaughan's Sassanian sets the standard on ratings in this maiden hurdle but that standard is not a particularly high one so it might be best to take a chance on Irish raider MAGNETIC FORCE. A fairly useful maiden on the level the gelding has shown clear progression in a couple of Irish contests over hurdles and wouldn't have to improve much again to take this. Baraathen made a promising debut before falling last time but can't be ruled out based on that first outing while Miereveld showed enough on timber debut to suggest a future in this sphere.
