Verdict

Ferdy Murphy is represented by On The Right Path, Badgers Retreat and Glasson Lad with Graham Lee on the latter who looks comfortably the best of the trio though he was beaten a long way on his return to action at Huntingdon. Red Rocco showed some promise in bumpers and will be better for his run behind Simply Ned at Kelso while dual winning point-to-pointer True Blue should be much better suited by hurdling than he was in a fast-ground bumper at Towcester where he started a short-priced favourite. He looks a big threat but HAWK MOUNTAIN can make a winning start to his new career as this five-times Flat winner ran off a mark of 90 when last seen at Doncaster in September and should have too much quality for these provided he takes to hurdling.
