In depth

Verdict

Derek Fox steered Sean Airgead to a three-quarter-length victory over Solway Blue at Perth last week but the partnership may find this tougher under a 7lb penalty. Front Rank hinted at a revival when third at Kelso earlier this month while Pumboo was third over C&D two weeks ago and is only a pound higher here. MYCENEAN PRINCE finished behind Solway Blue at Market Rasen last month but is clearly much better on this faster surface, as he proved when winning here last time and when beating Nobel at Worcester last summer. A 3lb rise in the weights isn't restrictive and Karen Tutty's charge is fancied to go in again.
