TROODOS JET is rarely far away over this C&D and only a pound higher than when runner-up in this race 12 months ago. He's a lot more consistent than his rivals and can gain another deserved success. Gem Mill's form leaves plenty to be desired but it's interesting to see Jamie Moore has travelled up for the ride on Peter Bowen's gelding and he's more interesting than Kit Carson and Conflictofinterest, who both unseated last time. Frith has tumbled down the ratings and could play a part, however, as he was racing from out of the handicap when tailed off at Carlisle last month.
