Verdict

Captain Moonlite has been busy and was well beaten on heavy ground at Galway last week. Focussed had Tom Dooley half-a-length behind when scoring at Galway and, though penalised, Ronan Whelan's claim may just be enough to confirm the form. MAHON FALLS, who finished fourth, got outpaced before staying on strongly and though this could prove on the short side she looks to have scope for further improvement and gets the verdict. Hilltown Gal won a Down Royal maiden before finding a Curragh nursery beyond her though she didn't appreciate the fast ground.
