Verdict

Ruby Walsh was on board when CRYSTAL EARTH once again found one too good in a tough handicap at the Galway Festival and is reunited with Peter Fahey's charge, who found 2m4f too far at Ballinrobe. He won't get a better opportunity and can finally lose that maiden tag over timber. Runyon Rattler has a bumper penalty to contend with and didn't jump particularly well on his hurdling bow on heavy going here earlier this month though he'll have benefited from the experience. Shadagann looks a major threat as he's been in excellent form on the Flat recently, scoring at the Curragh in June, and can improve on his latest start over timber when runner-up at Ballinrobe.
