Some consistent though frustrating types here and jockeyship may prove the key. Joseph O'Brien and Billy Lee were both seen to good effect when their respective mounts, Battleoftrafalgar and SAILORS WARN, occupied the places in a strong maiden won by Prince Chaparral over 1m4f at Galway. The former just had the edge that day but Timothy Doyle's charge is 2lbs better off here and is more likely to appreciate the drop in trip. Maverick Man has attempted to make all in his last two starts but those tactics haven't worked out and Kevin Manning may hold on to him this time. His mount's best run was on fast ground, however, so Welcome Addition may prove more of a threat as she didn't enjoy being stepped up to 1m4f at Leopardstown after a very promising debut there over today's trip.
