It doesn't get too much worse than this and Carefree is selected in preference to Foxxy and Gibsons. Carefree hails from the in-form Willie Haggas yard and whilst two previous all-weather starts have scarcely warmed the blood, at this grade, she has to have claims over a trip that should suit on breeding. Foxxy failed to build on a turf victory earlier last year but she is at least proven and consistent. Gibsons is a long standing maiden. It is now double figures but with Paul Blockley training, any market move is noted. The Light Fandango is yet to establish a trip that she is proficient over but could not be ruled out if the principals fluff their lines. Ugenius hails from the same stables.
