Verdict

Blinkers may bring about sufficient improvement in SWISS ART to enable him to take this prize. Glan Lady, Sally's Dilemma and Officer Mor are others with claims in a tight contest. Swiss Art got behind after a fairly slow start on his first appearance at this track last month but stayed on well enough in that nursery to believe that he handles the track. The fitting of blinkers could see him gain a better position on his exit from the stalls and enable him to take this prize. Blinkers did the trick for Glan Lady on her penultimate start but she failed to build on that in a nursery last time and it remains to be seen whether she'll be able to progress. Officer Mor appears to be on the downgrade but may be able to arrest the slide if handling this surface and he hasn't been beaten too far the last twice. Sally's Dilemma wasn't beaten too far here on her penultimate start and a repeat performance should be enough to put her in the frame for honours but we'll take a chance with Swiss Art.
