Verdict

A quick-fire hat-trick is within the grasp of RIGUEZ DANCER, who is no doubt in for battering from the handicapper if he continues to flourish in the same vein as evidenced by a 12-length romp at Wolverhampton last week. The equally well handicapped Bajan Pride, like the selection, is a versatile performer and is capable of making a good fist of things, while the Sir Mark Prescott-trained My Mentor acts well on the surface and, as he may have been in need of the run when he finished fourth over an inadequate trip last week, he cannot be discounted. Racing in blinkers seems to sharpen up Prescott's gelding and, with Stephen Donohoe riding with plenty of confidence, the Newmarket handler can rest safe in the knowledge he's done all he can to cover all the bases. However, assuming Riguez Dancer is thriving on being kept busy, he can give his owners, the Middleham Park Xii, another profitable trip to the races. Don't forget to book your chauffeur boys!
