      Verdict

Sans Souci Bay was engaged yesterday at Ascot. Monks Stand had Angel Palanas behind when completing a hat-trick over 6f here last month but he’s been beaten a long way on every previous occasion he’s run over this extra furlong. Mujassam is on a winning mark but he’s been running in claimers lately and has not won over a trip this far since 2015. FLORENCIO (NAP) is back on the same mark as when winning in a higher grade over course and distance in October. He’s been running well lately and can get his head back in front. Kommander Kirkup is a three-times course winner but all victories have come over 6f.
