In depth

Verdict

Little Carmela had Willow Wren well behind when scoring at Uttoxeter last month. She should make another bold bid given claimer Giles Hawkins takes over from Richard Johnson and negates most of a 7lb rise in the weights. However, ABNAKI relished the step up to 2m6f at Newton Abbot last time when holding on for victory despite a last hurdle blunder. This longer trip should bring further improvement and he gets the nod. Twice a winner over fences this year, Our Jim can race off a lower mark reverting to hurdles, while Fontwell winner The Good Guy has claims on last year's best form. Restart goes well here and What's Occurrin could make the frame.
