In depth

Verdict

This is quite competitive and the three to concentrate on look to be Into The Dark, Take A Bow and Rocamadour with the vote given to Into The Dark. The selection has yet to recapture his form of last year but he is eased in grade today and with ground conditions also in his favour he should take plenty of beating. Take A Bow is another eased in grade but Pat Chamings 5-year-old has yet to prove that he sees out this trip and for that reason he looks opposable. Rocamadour goes on the ground but he does not look to be as good as he once was and he is another that is probably better over a shorter trip. Desert Authority made a winning debut but looks the stable second-string today and with this in mind we will return to Into The Dark as our choice to lead them home.
