ROYAL DIGNITARY is near the pipe and slippers stage of his career but he can win the cigar money at the expense of Daniel Thomas and Lost Soldier Three. The BHA figures do have him some way clear of his rivals but backers have to factor in the absence from the racecourse since September. Nevertheless, he has won here previously and seems to have been found a new lease of life in plating company. Lost Soldier Three is dropped substantially in trip. His five seconds in a row perfectly illustrate his resolution in a finish. Moonlight Man and Transmission both finished behind Miss Bootylishes in a claimer last week. On the official ratings, the performance of the former has to go down as a disappointment. Special Cuvee was handed a spiteful rise by the handicapper for finishing second in a poor race and finds himself forced into competing in claimers and sellers once again. If Royal Dignitary is fit enough, he should be up to the task.
