A prolific winner at Wolverhampton, Powerful Pierre was well beaten on his debut at this track last month. Hamoody and Spitfire are course and distance winners who went close in plating races on their latest starts and both make more appeal than Pelmanism. But the three-year-old ROYAL WARRIOR looks to have the best chance on today's terms as he made a winning debut over 5f here last term and will no doubt have improved from a recent comeback outing over 7f - Alan McCabe's charge gets the vote.
