Punching likes the Fibresand and doesn't look badly treated on his best form, though a high draw is off-putting. Catterick winner Rowan Spirit is also drawn out wide, as is Sleepy Blue Ocean, but EQUULEUS PICTOR can have no excuses from stall two and John Spearing's charge, who likes to race close to the pace, is taken to add to his recent Chepstow gains as he is only 5lb than when successful over C&D in July. Il Battista won over 7f here last month so may prove best of the rest, though Richard Guest's filly Arrivaderci wouldn't be far away if rediscovering her best and Jason Hart takes off a handy 7lb.
