AMTIRED returned from a spell hurdling to gain a convincing victory over the course and distance a week ago and it's unlikely a 6lb penalty will pose too many problems. Layla's Boy ran a shocker last time and it was only a seller that he finished runner-up in three days earlier. Amazing Blue Sky won a much better race than this on soft ground at Haydock last summer and is on a 15lb lower mark, though he has a long absence to overcome as has Dubara Reef. The front-running Maslak beat Layla's Boy in a seller here last month but has finished last in both subsequent starts.
