        Verdict

        It’s been over a year since BOROUGH BOY last won but he’s slipped down the weights since and a better effort over 6f here a week ago suggests Derek Shaw’s charge can return to winning ways. Imjin River was runner-up in this last year off a similar mark but was behind fourth-placed Jacob's Pillow here last month. Oscars Journey won off a higher mark over 6f here last year and Very First Blade went close over track and trip back in January. Only Ten Per Cent is a rare winner nowadays and has not scored on the Fibresand since 2014.
