Verdict

The Blue Dog finished a close-up third at Wolverhampton in April and the course winner should figure on his first start since. Kingaroo makes more appeal, however, as the C&D winner scored at Doncaster last time and remains on a winning mark despite a 5lb rise. TYRANA was having her first start for over two years when beaten only eight lengths over hurdles in May. She won over 1m4f here in 2010 off today's mark and Ian William's mare gets the vote. The remainder all arrive out of sorts including last week's runner-up at this track, Yas Marina, as he was still beaten nine lengths albeit over a longer trip.
