Irish raider Celtic Monarch has raced in better company, including a Listed contest at Limerick earlier this month, so should find this to his liking. Troyan has a penalty to carry for his Ludlow victory but that's unlikely to prevent another big effort and the runner-up won subsequently. Oscar Tanner appeared to be suited by a longer trip at Fontwell but Elmore Black may appreciate this quicker ground after a fair debut on heavy going at Uttoxeter. Given his trainer's record in these races, REVERB looks the one to be on as he's bred to enjoy the type of ground he'll encounter here and should have enough pace to make a winning debut.
