NAWAMEES is the pick in the seller with Edas and City Stable on the shortlist. Now with David Evans, the 11-year-old is bidding for a hattrick on this surface having won at meetings in January and February. He has been kept busy with a run on the Wolverhampton polytrack and a spin over hurdles and will be suited by the vagaries of today's small field. Edas is a frustrating character at the best of times and while he has spurned easier opportunities than this, he is dangerous if he fancies it. City Stable officially is well in on the figures. Formerly trained by Sir Michael Stoute, he showed nothing on first appearance for Richard Guest. My Friend Fritz was a beaten favourite in a similar contest in February though has not been seen since. National Hunt performer, Russian Invader is tried in eyeshields for the first time. Nawamees gets the nod in a race where all five have claims on their best form.
