Donny Rover sets the standard but is thoroughly exposed and it would be no surprise if a couple of these improve past him. Zal Zilhom went close at Ripon last time and has leading claims on that effort but BLACK VALE has form at the track and is just preferred on that basis. The latter ran out of steam in the closing stages over 7f here earlier this month so today's shorter trip should see him go very close. The remainder are hard to fancy though newcomer Birikyno is related to a winner on the Polytrack.
