After a promising debut effort Michael Bell's HORSERADISH looks the pick in this maiden leaving Hounds Ditch and debutante True To Form scrapping for minor honours. On his first outing the selection found just one too good beating some fair types in the process. We may have just the one start to go on but it seems to set the standard and given it came on good to soft ground this surface should suit. Hounds Ditch only beat one home on his opening gambit but he wasn't beaten far and should come on for the run. True To Form will probably be better as an older horse and should need further in time to be seen at his best. That said this won't take a great deal of winning so any market support would be interesting. Phoenix Rose and Marjolly have only been solid so far so in a poor maiden where you can leave your notebooks at home we choose Horseradish as likely winner.
