In depth

Verdict

Fol Hollow is impossible to oppose in this maiden with Rub of The Relic and Countrywide Comet rating the main dangers. The selection has ran with promise on his two runs to date and was a fair second behind Aaim To Storm last time out, form that sets a fair standard and if he acts on this surface he will be hard to beat. Rub of The Relic rates the main danger on his latest second behind Ballycroy Boy but he has already given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and is taken on with this in mind. Countrywide Comet is another that has ran with promise in the past but he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Of the remainder, Ellmau is a well bred type from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Fol Hollow.
