Verdict

LEXINGTON BAY has a very obvious chance on the figures and should take the beating unless Honest Deal proves capable of causing problems on his racecourse bow. Richard Fahey's runner finished down the field in the Chesham on his second start and was then off the track until last month when reappearing over course and distance. His second there was a perfectly respectable performance and marks him down as the one to beat returned to this venue. Honest Deal is the first foal of a 7 furlong polytrack winner and represents respected connections whilst Dictate shaped well at this track last time and may appreciate this longer trip.
