Silverhay won well last time and can score again at the main expense of Wildbach and Peak Seasons. The selection was having only his fifth outing over hurdles when comfortably beating Entailment at Newton Abbott last time and although he has a penalty for that success, the manner of the win suggests that he is up to defying it with the champion amateur Tom Greenall on board. Wildback is an obvious danger as he is eased in grade here and although he was well beaten last time the form of that race has worked out well. Peak Seasons was a fair third behind Flying Doctor last time but he had the race run to suit that day and he was unable to capitalise. Dalriath has a very capable amateur booked and he returns to hurdling after unshipping his rider over fences last time. He could go well at a price but Silverhay is in good form and can defy a penalty to win again.
