      Verdict

Rebecca Curtis' newcomer Irish Cavalier is certainly worth monitoring in the betting but this finale features four previous winners and is an above-average bumper for the track. Baltimore Rock, successful at Bangor before finishing second at Wetherby, may be the best of the penalised runners though the mare Fountains Mary is also respected. Rolling Maul was only beaten a neck at Southwell on his debut under Rules but DUKE'S AFFAIR's run at Exeter last time was too bad to be true and he could be the one to beat on an earlier third to Anteros at Chepstow.
