Craiglands has spurned easier opportunities than this and has a bit to find with Classic Case and Basford Ben on collateral form involving Towcester winner Cosway Spirit. Phoenix Des Mottes easily beat Timpo over 3m2f at Southwell in December and had Quayside Court well behind when second over a shorter trip at Market Rasen last time but would have preferred better ground. HANDSOME BUDDY isn't an easy ride but had the stamina to win over 3m5f at Warwick last month and, though 6lb higher, could easily follow up as Kyles Faith may struggle to last home.
