    Verdict

Warren Greatrex saddles a couple of interesting newcomers here in Buddy Bolero, who is full brother to useful hurdler/chaser Finger Onthe Pulse, and the Flemensfirth gelding Kowloon. Count Vettori, Vision Of Lights and Victor Leudorum have all shown signs of ability while Scales was well backed at Ayr in January, though finished well beaten. Given the fact that he's by champion sprinter Pivotal out of a well-bred French mare, it's a surprise to see JAWHARY starting off in a race like this. Philip Hobbs' gelding is a half-brother to a winning miler, however, as well as stayer Hamsat Elqamar and may have too much speed for today's rivals.
