In depth

Verdict

La Dame Brune looks the one to be with here and he is nominated over Double Dizzy and Fountain Hill. The selection was a fair second behind Blaeberry last time and the key to her chance today is that she is proven on the ground. Double Dizzy finished third behind Kings Euro last time and although he has form on a soft surface, he has yet to race on ground as testing as this. He could go well, but his overall strike-rate is less than impressive and the percentage call is to take him on. Fountain Hill will handle the ground but he has yet to really prove his worth over the chase fences. He has run well here in the past though so it may be too early to write him off. Cardenas put in an improved effort last time and the race has worked out well. However, La Dame Brune has plenty in her favour and she can go close.
