If I Had Him showed a modicum of promise on his debut over timber but is quickly dropped into this grade which rates a concern, and he's taken on with CRUCHAIN. Jonjo O'Neill's charge was well backed before disappointing at Sandown when last seen but this represents a markedly easier test and on his previous Huntingdon win he'd go close with ground conditions ideal. Dark Energy caught the eye three starts back when given a tender ride but was readily brushed aside at Ludlow, albeit by a subsequent winner. With that in mind Border Castle, whose best form would wipe the floor with these, is considered the biggest threat. However, he refused to race when last seen and, having been pulled-up prior to that, has something to prove now.
