The shortlist is formed of Moorland Monarch, Terrible Tenant, Wizard Of Edge and He's The Gaffer, with the vote going to Moorland Monarch. Moorland Monarch has been knocking at the door lately from around today's mark and, given that this is a modest race, he will rarely get a better chance to earn some winning brackets. He's The Gaffer's second here two runs ago brings him into it, although he's untried on going this testing. Terrible Tenant has very obvious claims at this level, and at least he knows how to win, and Wizard Of Edge has a good chance on the back of his hurdling form. Finally, Quatrain is a possible improver at this level and Towns Ender showed some promise when last seen in 2004 but has been off for a long time. For the winner, then, we nominate Moorland Monarch.
