This is a distinctly moderate contest to end the afternoon's action and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Lambency, who gets the vote ahead of Roman Quintet and Valverde. The last mentioned opened his account at the tenth time of asking when landing a Bath claimer last month and George Baker's gelding has every chance if in the same mood today. Giles Bravery's Duke Of Milan has run well in his last two starts and is bound to be popular with many but he may be a shade high in the weights at present. Obe One is capable but has proven to be hard to win with in recent seasons, while High Window remains a maiden after 27 starts and is hard to back with any confidence. Roman Quintet has been running well and has every chance but marginal preference is for Lambency, who has shown improved form in recent starts.
