Mark Johnston has two notable entries in this race with Hacienda who has disappointed in three highly competitive handicaps in his last three starts and GINGER JACK who has already been gelded. The quicker ground will suit them both and they look two of the major players. The better performer of late, Ginger Jack, is fancied to win. High Twelve ran in the Royal Lodge and the Dewhurst Stakes last year but John Gosden's option has disappointed all year and this track may not suit one who takes a while to get in to his stride. Oriental Scot prefers things on the firm side but isn't fancied to defy a career high rating whilst Tres Coronas would favour some give in the going. Christmas Light has no issues with the conditions but the trip might not be perfect.
