SAXBY gets the vote in the opener over Cassidy K and Bothwell Castle. The selection was well beaten on his debut but he shaped with a bit more encouragement last time at Salisbury when he wasn't beaten far behind Decree Absolute. He is dropped into a seller here and connections look to have given him a realistic opportunity to open his account. Cassidy K went close in this grade at Ripon last month but she has since been out and disappointed so off the back of that run she is hard to back with confidence. Bothwell Castle hails from a yard whose stables juveniles are in decent form and he shaped with a bit more encouragement in a claimer at Redcar last time. If he can build on that then he should be capable of giving the selection a race. Karl Burke has his string in good form so Lord Raglan is worth a market check on his racecourse debut, but in a race that won't take much winning we will nominate Saxby as the pick.
