Verdict

BERTIES DREAM never kicked on after landing the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham in 2010 though he invariably tackled the best over fences and timber. He made a very encouraging return to the bigger obstacles at Navan last month and this looks within his capabilities. Marlay Park won a couple of times over hurdles and should be scoring soon over fences though he didn't get much chance to show his ability when brought down at Leopardstown last week. Saville Row hasn't shown much over fences to date but will be much better suited by this longer trip though the main threat would undoubtedly come from False Messenger if she is able to repeat her excellent second to the classy Askanna at Limerick last week.
