This is a question of whether the assessor has caught up with MULLINAVAT. A 21-length winner of a novice chase at Tramore, he won by even further in a handicap hurdle on a return visit so it's no surprise to find him 20lb higher. He's still much better handicapped than over fences so can complete a hat-trick. Bad Cigar has a career strike-rate of 0-26 but runs the occasional good race as he did when narrowly defeated at Ballinrobe. Winning point-to-pointer Model Cloud is still a maiden under Rules though went close behind Billy De Kid, who runs earlier, over fences at Clonmel. Miss Mcilroy and Aurora's Dream were both beaten favourites last time though the former ran well enough at Ballinrobe to put her in the frame for this.
