Verdict

Willie Mullins has some excellent chances today and WESTERNER LADY (NAP) is certainly one of them. A winning bumper and successful four times over hurdles before turning to fences, her only defeat came at Cork where she wasn't disgraced behind the smart Alpha Des Obeaux and she bounced back to land a Grade 3 at Clonmel. Her stable companion Daisy's Gift broke a blood vessel when falling at Cork and was given a spin over hurdles where she finished tailed off. Colla Pier has only had three starts over fences and may need more experience while Not For Burning has become a specialist at Fairyhouse having gained her last three victories there. Black Franks Angel has only had one run over fences and was beaten a long way into second on good ground at Wexford.
