Verdict

EIRNIN has been running in much better company, including the Oaks at Epsom, since scoring at Navan and this drop in grade is just what's needed for a filly with Group 1 entries. Deire Na Sli continues to frustrate but is rarely beaten far and in a tactical battle must be kept on the right side. Any give in the ground will aid Simla Sunset, whose last two runs at the Curragh have been her best for a long time. She looks certain to give a good account against her younger rivals while Face Reality, a winner for Richard Hannon on her debut at Newbury in September, has raced at a high level subsequently and is no forlorn hope.
