Ostatnia won this last year on soft ground and landed another course and distance victory on fast going in May. She doesn't look badly treated for another crack while Lady Mega, who won the race two years ago, scored at Down Royal in June then ran a fine race in Listed company over an extra furlong at Naas. Master Speaker has only won twice in 36 starts which is a poor return for a useful sprinter. He finished runner-up a year ago but is no better off with the winner due to his consistency. Shanghai Beauty won here on heavy ground in May and has since completed a hat-trick. Her young rider's claim can enable her to again take care of Go Kart, who finished runner-up to her at Bellewstown. SORS landed a premier handicap at the Curragh in June and went up 7lb.
