Verdict

POSITIVE VIBES finished first past the post at Killarney but hung left on the fast ground and was disqualified. To add insult to injury he's been raised 5lb but Jane Mangan's claim takes care of the extra and compensation awaits. Greenbelt Star is running well and wasn't inconvenienced by testing ground at Galway when runner-up to Treasure The Ridge. He looks a threat while it's difficult to know what to make of Coolfighter, a regular winner in Germany and having his first start for Tony Mullins. Killourney Empress is definitely on the upgrade and though 10lb higher than her Sligo victory her rider can claim 7lb so Timothy Doyle's filly has to be on the short-list.
